Where are you based?

Democratique Socks is based in Copenhagen, Denmark — where all styles are designed with a focus on Scandinavian minimalism, technical precision, and everyday durability.

Where are your socks produced?

We produce at one of the finest sock factories in the world, located in Istanbul, Turkey.

We visit the factory every year to ensure:

  • High technical standards (including 200-needle construction)

  • Strict quality control

  • International CSR compliance

We believe premium socks start with premium production.

Products & Availability

Are all products in stock on the website?

Yes. Everything visible in the ALL PRODUCTS section is in stock.

If a product is unavailable, it will clearly be marked SOLD OUT on the product image.

We do not sell pre-orders unless clearly stated.

What if a product is missing from my order?

All orders are scanned before shipping, making missing products extremely rare.

In the unlikely event of a stock discrepancy:

  • The missing product will be marked on your packing slip

  • The amount will be refunded the same day

  • You will receive a notification from us

Refunds typically appear on your card within 1–5 business days, depending on your bank.

What if a product is damaged?

Since 2012, we have had fewer than 5 product claims a year worldwide — a testament to our quality standards.

If you receive a damaged product, please contact us by email and we will arrange an exchange or refund.

Orders & Shipping

From where do you ship?

All orders are shipped from Denmark.

We work with a professional warehouse partner, Store-Pit, ensuring fast and secure global fulfillment.

You can see all shipping costs, duties, and FREE SHIPPING thresholds at checkout.

When do you ship orders?

Orders are automatically transferred to our warehouse within seconds after being placed.

Warehouse hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CET

  • Orders placed before 10:00 AM CET are shipped the same day

  • More than 99.2% of all orders are shipped the same day — even those placed after 10:00 AM

  • Orders placed on weekends or national holidays ship the next business day

We prioritize speed without compromising quality control.

Can I track my order?

Yes.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can also check your account.

We use trusted couriers including:

  • UPS

  • DHL

  • GLS

  • PostNord

Tracking emails are typically sent between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM CET on the shipping day.

Can I change my order after it’s placed?

Unfortunately, no.

Orders are transferred to our warehouse within seconds and processed immediately. Because we ship extremely fast, it is not possible to modify an order once placed.
